Home Remedies for Burns Contributed by Cora Collada

Got burned?

You may have seen chalazae. They are little strings hanging out in the egg white. If you've seen them you may have thought they were part of the embryo. Nope. Chalazae is the part of the egg white that keeps yolk in the center. In any case, the point is...chalazae is very effective in treating burns and cuts! This is where it is located:

Never put butter, toothpaste, or creams on a burn because that holds the heat in.

Put plain white flour on a burn for 10 mins and you will have no blister no burning no redness no anything.

Try vanilla extract on a cloth every couple of hours, within a week you won't even see a scar. It also pulls the heat from the burn.
Egg whites (not the string) are also among the most effective natural cures for burns, and is also the cheapest of the best natural cures. If you have a burn, apply egg whites, and then take a paper-towel soaked in the egg white and tie it on the burn with a towel or piece of clothing. You will more than likely not feel pain half an hour later.
Honey and apple cider vinegar work, too!
